Birthday Parties

Our fun and talented instructors will be happy to host your child’s birthday party for up to 30 guests. It’s a great way to get to know our school. Give us a call for more information and available times.

Our package deal means added value for you.

Every Valentin Karate party includes:

An hour and a half party for up to 30 kids, instructor, pizza, soft drinks and all place settings (napkins, forks, tablecloth, etc.), and invitations for 30 guests. You provide the cake.

Also included is a Birthday pass for a FREE month of Tang Soo Do Karate classes for the birthday child and all the guests!

Other birthday services in the area will cost you more than our package deal. Our inclusive package is only $259 for members or $299 for non-members. For our Leadership members we offer a special discounted rate of $199. Our Master’s Club member rate is only $99!

Our parties include the following fun activities:

- Enthusiastic and highly energetic instructors to make sure that every child has fun.

- 30 minutes of instruction from our staff for your child and their guests focused on fun and entertainment .

- 30 minutes of pizza and soft drinks for every guest.

- Cake cutting ceremony for the birthday boy/girl where the instructor has the child assist as they cut the cake with a Samurai sword.

- The party closes as presents are opened and games are played for the last 30 minutes.

Football, soccer, and baseball are all great activities, but our martial arts program is personal development through a physical discipline. In the martial arts, nobody sits on the bench! In today’s world, confidence and self-esteem are the building blocks for success. Nothing takes away a child’s self-confidence more than always being the “last one picked” or “sitting on the bench.”

The physical and character foundations that we develop, helps students excel in their academic school studies, sports, defeat bullying by having a confident attitude and building confidence in social situations. It ensures that they will have courage and the character to make good decisions when confronted with negative peer pressure. Students at Valentin Karate are leaders, not followers.

Programs

Tang Soo Do

Originally called Soo Bahk Do, the martial arts discipline Tang Soo Do originated in Korea and has a long history and tradition dating back 2,000 years. Learning and practicing Tang Soo Do develops and enhances both the body and the mind. Increase your focus, balance, coordination, strength and endurance all while having a great time. Tang Soo Do is fun for students of all ages and is a great activity for families.

We have open enrollment year-round. Students may join at any time. Family discounts are available to our enrolled students.

Introductory Program

We offer a FREE, no obligation Introductory Lesson. Meet one of our instructors and learn some basic moves. If you would like to give us a try, sign up for 4 weeks of group classes for $49 and receive a Free Uniform!

Tiny Tigers (ages 3-5)

Our Tiny Tigers class is designed specifically for preschoolers. This class focuses on gross motor skill development and helps students learn self-control, patience and respect. Children learn life skills like keeping your hands to yourself, raising their hand to ask a question and answering “Yes Sir” and “Yes Ma’am” to questions. Yes, children this young have a great time learning martial arts and the rules of conduct that are vitally important at this age. They also learn “Street Smart/Stranger Awareness” and personal safety skills in this class.

Little Dragons (ages 5-7)

Our Little Dragons class is taught age appropriate for this group’s learning potential. While learning self-defense, these children will have lots of fun in a curriculum custom designed to build their confidence along with learning respect and self-control. All classes are taught with a mental as well as physical lesson in mind.

Juniors Program (ages 7-12)

Children at this age are beginning to be more independent. They are spending time with friends, at school, and can be in situations without their parents next to them. Therefore, they need not only self defense skills, but life skills that will help them make good choices and be people of character. In class they will learn how to prepare for challenges, set goals, deal with success and failure, get exercise and develop standards of excellence. They will also make a lot of friends and have fun.

Teens/Adults Program (ages 13+)

As teens spend more time away from home and more time with their friends, we want them to make good choices and decisions. Our instructors provide positive role models and a safe place for teens. Adult students … never fear… the first few months of class gives you an opportunity to gain flexibility and increase your cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone at a manageable pace. At the same time you will find your focus and concentration increase too, integrating the idea of martial arts being “mind and body.”
